Brass Sculptural Cobra Candleholder
Item Details
A brass sculptural candleholder. This candleholder features a sconce for a single taper over a base that depicts a cobra with its hood spread, the lower half of its body forming a support in the shape of a semi-coiled snake. The metal is etched with snakeskin and floral patterns, with red and black detail. The piece is unmarked.
Condition
- minor marks throughout; wax residue in holder and areas below on cobra; reen oxidation present on brass as well as white residue from cleaner/polish.
