A signed hand-painted Ackermann and Fritz porcelain plate. The plate features a classical style design with central robed figures finding Cupid in a meadow with gilt foliate and Greek key borders interspersed with cherub representations. The plate is signed ‘E. Mattheus’ to the lower right and is marked ‘Mione u Amor’ to the reverse with a blue underglaze beehive mark attributed to Ackermann and Fritz.

Condition

- slight marks and stains to underside; surface scratches.
