Item Details
An oil painting on board titled Beach Scene by listed New York artist Harry Barton (1908 – 2001). The painting depicts a mother relaxing in a beach chair, under an umbrella, as her children play in the sand nearby. Groups of beachgoers relax in the distance under a calm blue sky. It is signed in red to the lower left. Presented in a gold tone wood frame with a beige linen liner. A hanging wire is present to the verso.
Condition
- small areas of paint loss along right edge. Stains and wear to frame and liner.
