Ink Wash

A pair of ink drawings on paper by North Carolina artist Zooey Brookshire. These pieces include Mod Squad Girl, an ink drawing depicting the face of a woman with long straight hair, a collection of circles lined up underneath her. Also included is a loosely-rendered ink wash piece depicting what appears to be a landscape with a trio of trees rising up along the horizon. Both pieces are signed to their lower edges, Mod Squad Girl also titled and marked and an exhibition label to its upper right, and are presented under plastic without frames or hanging hardware.
