An oil painting on panel abstract composition by Edwin Zoller (Pittsburgh, 1900-1967). Flat, lightly varied tones and shades of white are applied in flat color planes juxtaposed in rhythmic positions. Signed to the lower right, Zoller. Inscribed to the verso, ‘No. 5-67/ Zoller.’ The work is float mounted in a wood frame.

Edwin W. Zoller studied art at the University of Pittsburgh, the Pennsylvania State University and Carnegie Institute. He taught painting at the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). The Pennsylvania State Art Gallery is named in his honor.
