A triptych of gelatin silver print photographs of a woman signed by Agatha Gillen, April 1, 1921. The three photographs depict a woman in period clothing posed in dancing positions. The ‘Isadorables’ were a group of women who danced in the style of American dancer, Isadora Duncan. This ‘Isadorable’ dancer lived and danced in Pittsburgh. Each photograph is signed by Agatha, dated and personalized to James, Caroline and May Heffenstall in graphite. Presented under glass, each individually mounted, with a black toned wood frame.
Condition
- scratches and marks to the frame; discoloration and fading present to the photographs.
