A 1987 cast bronze sculpture by listed Mexican artist Jesus Tellosa (1936 – 2012). The piece depicts a stylized female figure with a bird-motif headdress, shown standing next to a large bird with plumed tail. The headdress features small soapstone bead embellishments attached to the edges with a series of bent metal rods. The work is signed and dated in mold to the lower left.

Condition

- marks and scratches throughout; some decorative pieces are missing from the headdress; oxidation, tarnish, discoloration and surface wear to metal.
