A gouache painting on plaster after the Minoan Bull-Leaping Fresco from the Knossos palace in Crete. This work depicts a figure catapulting themselves over the back of a charging bull, a pair of partially-clothed figures to either side. This piece is mounted in a dark wooden frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.
Condition
- wear and discoloration to the paint on the frame; wear to the verso of frame.
