An original contemporary oil painting on canvas by listed 20-21st century American painter Richard Judson Zolan (born 1931). The painting depicts two figures in wide-brimmed hats paddling a small rowboat across a wide pond dotted with vibrant water lilies. Foliage is painted in hazy fields of cool color along the water’s edge. The painting is signed in blue to the lower left. It is presented in a wide wooden frame with cast high relief embellishments, gold tone and pickled finishes, white linen lining, and a hanging wire attached to the verso.
