Vintage Italian 800 Silver and Enamel Case

An 800 silver case. This piece features an 800 silver frame with an enameled lid depicting a pastoral landscape scene with four figures, lambs, grass, and a body of water in the background. There is a removable mirror on the inside. The inner rim of the case is stamped with an Italian oval cartouche marked ‘190 FI’ alongside ‘800’. The maker’s mark has a registration number of 190 for Spinelli Ottavia and FI for province abbreviation for Firenze, which dates this piece between the early 1940s and the early 1970s. The approximate weight, including the enamel lid, is 3.335 ozt.
