An artist proof woodcut print by John Murray Barton titled The Bride. The long narrow print printed in black and blue depicts an abstract image of a woman wearing a veil and dress with a bouquet of flowers. Three birds in a cage is depicted in the background. It is signed ‘JM Barton’ to the lower right, the title is written to the lower left followed by AP. It is mounted under glass in a black and silver gilt wood frame that is wired for hanging.

Condition

- to fair; discoloration and water stains to the margins of the print and rippling; discoloration, scratches and wear to the frame.
