Vintage Hotpoint L&H Electrics Enameled Range with Oven

Item Details

A vintage, circa 1930s, Hotpoint L&H Electronics electric range with oven, model 847B. The vintage range is made of steel with an ivory colored enameled finish. It features four electric burners on the left side, which are marked ‘Hotpoint’. There is a small oven on the right side, with slots to adjust the wire rack inside. There are four dials on the front, to control the four burners, with a pull-out tray below to remove accumulated crumbs or other material. A metal data plate on the back is marked ‘L&H Electrics Range – Model 847B – Serial No. 1037734 – A. J. Lindemann & Hoverson, Co. Milwaukee, Wis. – Made in U.S.A.’ The range rests on four enameled steel legs.

- Needs new power cord
- Interior of oven shows deterioration, wear and rust to enameled finish and racks throughout, including holes through the metal
- Enameled finish throughout shows some surface marks, wear; may have some chips or dings in areas, but overall good conditon for age
- Will need some assembly; legs for stove are detached for easier transport, but are included
