Early Gustav Stickley #518 Signed Writing Desk

Item Details

An early 1900’s signed Gustav Stickley (American, 1858–1942) #518 writing desk. The drop front desk is created from quarter sawn oak, with sides supported by thru-tenon construction, a paneled drop front writing surface with strapped hinge wrought iron hardware. The interior boasts several cutouts for storage. The open lower section appears to have originally provided for an adjustable shelf that is not included. The back retains original red painted decal for Stickley.
