A vintage 1929 American Bosch Magneto Corporation console radio in a Saginaw Furniture cabinet. The American Bosch radio, model #48AA, number 22638, features a seven-tube radio, designed into an ornate wood console. The cabinet by Saginaw Furniture, features an arched tracery style center opening, with two sliding mahogany veneer doors below. The doors open to a round tracery covered speaker with the Bosch radio controls below, also detailed in a mahogany veneer surround. The console features two curved ends, with a carved openwork apron, turned spindle legs, arched stretcher and palmette finial. The rear upper console includes a removable rear screen panel to access.
