An oil painting of a coastline on board, by an artist appearing to sign the work ‘Wayne A. Freeman.’ This atmospheric piece depicts a beach as seen under a heavy gray sky, the land scattered with heavy stones. This work is signed to its lower right and is mounted under glass in a wood and gesso frame with a wire for hanging to its verso.
Condition
- craquelure exists throughout the painting; some stains on the underside of the glass and surface scratches to top of glass; heavy wear to frame.
