A reproduction print on paper titled Blue Boy after well-listed English artist Thomas Gainsborough (1727 – 1788). This full length portrait depicts a boy, believed to be Jonathan Buttall, the son of a wealthy hardware merchant, in rich blue clothing of the period. The piece is unsigned and is presented in a painted wooden frame with gold tone edges and a hanging wire to the verso.
