A limited edition etching on paper by artist Pearce Bates titled Hound. The piece depicts a hound dog looking at a fly on its back, rendered in a palette of yellow and brown against an off-white ground. The work is signed in graphite to the lower right, titled to the lower left and numbered to the center as 8 out of an edition of 50 second state editions. It is double-matted in brown and yellow and presented under glass in a metal frame with hanging wire mounted to the verso.

- to Fair; discoloration and accretion present throughout print and matting; scattered stains to matting; nicks, edge wear, scratches and scuffing to frame.
