A. Giannelli Italian Alabaster Sculptural Bookends

A pair of Italian white alabaster sculptural bookends by A. Giannelli, executed in 1968.. The bookends appear with a nude female mermaid figure matching the contour of a dolphin figure below her. Hand carved with medium relief in the details and Italian export stickers to the underside. Both are signed to body of the dolphin.
