A watercolor painting on paper of a coastal scene by listed British artist Denis Lord (1926 – 2003). The piece depicts a European castle and rustic village set against boats gliding across a body of water. It is signed in black ink to the lower right and set under off-white French matting. The work is presented behind glass in a gold tone wooden frame with a metal hanging wire mounted to the verso.

Condition

- slight discoloration to paper and matting; some residue present under frame glass; minor surface wear throughout frame; residue to the verso; tape adhered along edges to the verso.
