A watercolor painting on paper with ink embellishments by New York artist Hale Gurland. The work depicts an Abstract Expressionist landscape rendered in hues of blue, green, red, yellow, orange and brown. A black sun shines overhead as a figure stands on a path to the center and points to one direction. The work is signed in black ink to the lower right. It is matted in off-white and presented under acrylic glass in a silver tone metal frame with hanging wire mounted to the verso. - to Fair; slight overall discoloration to paper and matting; staining and marks to mat at upper left and lower edge; scratch to acrylic glass; edge wear, scuffing, nicks and scratching to frame.
