Vintage Royal Doulton Miniature Figurines of Women
Item Details
A collection of vintage Royal Doulton miniature figurines of women. The nine women portrayed in this group wear 18th- and 19th-century style gowns. All appear to be ready to dance, with skirts swishing and bodies leaning in motion. The bone china pieces are all marked ‘Hand made and hand decorated – Made in England – Bone China’. The names, model numbers, and dates of the figurines are the following: Sunday Best (HN 3218 – 1978); Buttercup (HN3268 – 1990); Ninette (HN 3215 – 1970); Fragrance (HN 3220 – 1965); Fair Lady (HN 3216 – 1962); Kirsty (HN 3213 – 1970); Sara (HN 3219 – 1980); Diana (HN 3310 – 1991); and Christine (HN 3269 – 1977). The pieces were all ‘designed by Peggy Davies’.
