A watercolor painting on paper of the Mission San Esteban Rey in Acoma Pueblo, titled Acoma, the Sky City, by artist Jim Pecho. This work depicts the adobe church before an ominously cloudy sky, small white crosses visible to the building’s towers. This work is signed to the center of its lower edge, and is signed, titled, and dated ‘1/79’ to its verso. The piece is presented under glass and a mat with a circular opening in a beveled frame, a wire for hanging to its verso.
