An Arthur Wood earthenware teapot. This piece features a cream body decorated with red floral motifs to the center. It is accented with gilt borders and starburst motifs. It has a removable lid adorned with a round finial. The finial, handle, and elongated stout are also presented with a gilt finish. It is marked to the underside, ‘Arthur Wood England, 5490’.
