Depicted is an American eagle with its wings spread while sitting on a branch against a blue backdrop. It is signed in-plate and by hand in graphite to the lower right margin. It is titled in typeset to the lower center margin and presented behind glass in a gray distressed wooden frame, ready to hang.

- edge wear; minor chips to frame; frame glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; minor wear to paper backing.
