Hand-Painted Enamel Copper Pendant and Pin After Pablo Picasso

A hand-painted enamel on copper pendant and pin featuring portraits after Pablo Picasso’s Girl before a Mirror, attributed to artist Marion D. Lassar (1920 – 2015). The pieces each depict a woman’s face, reinterpreting the well-known painting in palettes of red and blue. The medallion has a small hole to its upper edge to allow for wearing, while the pin includes a safety pin back. Neither piece is signed by the artist.

Condition

- fair; pitting to surfaces, particularly to medallion; wear to finish at edges; tarnish to verso of each.
