*A hand-colored halftone print after an original 1893 painting titled The Putting Green by listed British artist Douglas Adams (1853 – 1920). The print depicts a golfer, mid-put, as his companion and their caddies observe the action from the green. A small lake and village are visible beyond the green. It is signed and dated in the plate to the lower right. The artist’s name, the title and publishing information are printed to the lower margin. Presented behind a dark green French style mat, under glass in a stained wood frame with gold tone detail. A wire hanger is present to the verso.
