A grouping of three engravings on paper by London engraver Thomas Cook (1744-1818), after English painter and engraver William Hogarth (1697-1664). Included is The Pool of Bethesda, depicting a crowd of people seeking healing at the biblical pool, with five covered colonnades and an angel in the background. The title, artists, and publication information are printed beneath the image. The Man of Taste is a piece of political satire depicting the Burlington Gate with the statue of William Kent and figures on scaffolding. Printed information beneath the image explains the imagery. The final print is titled The House of Commons, depicting politicians and administrators in wigs and hats, including the title, artists, and publication information printed beneath the image. These prints are presented under glass in carved wood frames, with hanging wire affixed to the versos.

- foxing throughout images; some water damage; debris under glass; one image is slightly askew in frame; surface wear and loss to carved patterns in frames.
