This Impressionist painting depicts a calm expanse of water jutting up against a sloped plot of land fronted with a wooden pier leading to a lone canoe. The land mass is accented with trees, which obscure a wooden cabin to the distance. The unsigned painting is presented under glass beneath matting in a brass tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
