This Impressionist painting depicts a colonial style building composed of red bricks, featuring Ionic columns, a waving American flag, sawtooth domed roof and a steeple monument. It sits on a flat plot of land with loose pools of pigment indicating trees to the background. Found to the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
