Antique Orr, Painter & Co. Cast Iron Kettle

A cast iron kettle by Orr, Painter & Co. This substantial kettle was produced late in the nineteenth century. The spring style handle was an effort to cool the area which conducted heat from the body. There are marks on the underside in relief reading ‘O.P & Co. 8’.

- wear and light rust.
