Item Details
A pair of replica Lion Monument of Lucerne, Switzerland bookends. Each features a wounded lion next to shield bearing the coat of arms of Switzerland. The lion rests on a rectangular base that is marked ‘Helvetiorum Fidei Ac Virtuti’, or ‘To the loyalty and bravery of the Swiss’, to the front. The bookends are bronze in color and have felt lined undersides.
Condition
- wear consistent with age and use.
- some discoloration along the edges of base and scratches throughout, notably on the backsides.
