A lithograph on paper titled Indito by American artist Marion Greenwood (1909-1970). This black and white piece features a young Native American boy wearing overalls and carrying a straw hat. It uses loose cross-hatching and bold lines to depict the figure, and outlines the mountains in the background. This piece was produced sometime in the 1950’s. It is signed my hand to the lower right and presented behind a cloth mat and glass in a wood frame that is wired for hanging.
Condition
- to fair; light edge wear to frame, upper left corner joint of frame is separating; stains in upper right on mat; some toning to edges of print; print has shifted in frame; tears to paper backing.
