A signed acrylic still life painting on canvas of vegetables by A. Gordon. Signed by hand and dated 1973 to the lower right corner, the painting depicts a table draped with a green tablecloth and covered in a basket filled with colorful vegetables and a bottle of wine. The painting is presented in a gold tone wood frame with geometric border design. A wire for hanging purposes is present to the verso of the frame.
Condition
- painting has various small areas of paint loss; craquelure; varnish has failed in some areas; discoloration to canvas verso; scuff marks to frame; upper right corner of liner has piece missing; splitting on top edge of liner; bottom edge of frame has scuffed area with color loss.
