Intaglio Print of Woman in Veil
Item Details
An intaglio print on paper of a woman in a veil. This portrait depicts the figure with her head turned slightly to one side, her hair falling to her shoulders in loose glossy curls. The print is presented, unsigned, behind glass and a mat with an oval opening, in an ornate gold tone frame. There is a wire for hanging present to the verso.
Condition
- toning and foxing to print; residue under glass; frame has surface damage; ornamental pieces missing; surface grime throughout.
