This print on paper features a central illustration originally created by the aforementioned artist, which depicts two sneakers layered against a silhouetted black tree with salmon and pink flowers to the foreground. It is bordered by green and white with black text dating the 1981 event in Alabama. To the top right corner of the composition is a handwritten personal inscription from Bill Rogers, a legendary US marathon runner. The print is presented under glass in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
