An ink and gouache political cartoon, with the subtitle Another Increase in the Family? by an artist signing the piece ‘Robinson.’ This piece depicts a pair of elephants elephants, dressed as a middle-aged couple, in armchairs, with children marked as representing republican governors Monks, Handley, Millis and Cravens on the ground in front of them. One of the elephants knits a pair of pants labeled ‘Draft Sparks Movement,’ while the other turns toward her, his mouth open to speak, a newspaper marked ‘GOP Governor Race’ in his hands. This piece is signed toward its lower right and is presented under glass in a wooden frame with a wire to the verso for hanging.
