Item Details
An abstract mixed media collage on wood board titled Swiss Pile II by listed American artist Ronald Ahlstrom (1922-2012). Composed of oil and acrylic paint and scraps of paper, this work features overlapping paper fragments cut into irregular polygonal shapes, painted with beiges, tans, mauves, white, and black. The work is signed to to the upper right. Handwriting to the verso reads the medium, dimensions, title, and artist’s signature. The composition is presented in a mauve painted wood frame.

- scratches and smudge marks scattered throughout composition; wear in frame includes small chips, scratches, stains, and paint loss.
