Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a snowy field. The work depicts a landscape blanketed in snow using the thick and pigmented nature of oil paints. Signed and dated ‘B. Bernard 1948’in paint to the lower right corner of the piece. Presented without a frame and without glass.
Condition
- to poor; rippling on the canvas; large areas of the painting are cracking; work could benefit from a cleaning; wear around edge of canvas; deep grooves into the front of the canvas; large stain to the front of the piece; multiple paint marks to the verso.
