White House Christmas Ornaments from 2009, 2010, and 2011

A group of White House Christmas ornaments from the White House Historical Association. The three commemorative items come in the original decorative, cushioned boxes and represent the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. The 2011 item features Theodore Roosevelt and his children gazing at a decorated tree. The ornament for 2010 depicts a scene with William McKinley and others listening to the Marine Band under the baton of John Philip Sousa; it is marked ‘The Stars and Stripes Forever – Army Navy Reception, 1900’. The 2009 snowflake ornament with a wintry glowing white House is marked to one side ‘1894 – 1st Christmas Tree with Electric Lights’.
