An Otl Aicher-designed 1972 Munich Olympic Games swimming poster. The poster was designed by eminent graphic designer and typographer Otl Aicher (German, 1922-1991). It depicts three swimmers racing in a pool, in a palette of royal blue, white, turquoise blue, orange and yellow. The poster is titled München 1972 – Olympic Games Aug 26th-Sept 10th. Aicher designed the poster after a photograph by Herbert Graaf. It was printed in Germany by Franzis-Druck, Munich.
