An original oil painting on canvas signed Berkowitz. This fantastical image depicts a white winged figure on horseback, with her hand raised to her chest and a pensive expression on her face. The horse if fitted with a patterned bridal and feathered plume as if prepared for a performance. The painting is rendered in wispy, dreamlike brushstrokes, and is signed ‘Berkowitz’ in the lower left corner. It is presented in a brown wood floating frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
