A gouache and watercolor painting of a fishing village by artist and Hong Kong native Vivienne Lee. This carefully-rendered work depicts a cluster of brightly-dressed figures fishing together from the stony edge of a wide stream, their village just visible through the thick trees behind them. This piece, which places cranes and other birds throughout the image, is signed in white to its lower right and is matted under glass in an aluminum frame with a wire and an artist’s biography to its verso.
