Item Details
A vintage sterling silver bridal basket by Watson Company (active 1880 – 1955, Attleboro, MA). This piece features a round footed bowl with a pierced gallery edge, orange scrolled frame accents, and a curved handle with a pierced and scrolled design. The top of the handle is engraved with a Gothic letter ‘F’ and the underside is stamped with wreath and sword maker’s mark (the trademark of Wilcox & Wagner acquired by Watson c.1905), ‘9262,’ and the number ten. The approximate weight is 12.286 ozt.
