Danish Sterling Silver Arts and Crafts "Blossom" Coffee Pot and Teapot
Item Details
An Arts and Crafts style sterling silver coffee pot and teapot. These were created by an unidentified silversmith after the 1905 Blossom pattern by the ‘father of Scandinavian Silver’ Georg Jensen (Danish, 1866-1935). They feature globular bodies that rise on short flaring toad’s feet, magnolia blossom finials, and the delicate hand hammered pitting popularized during the Arts and Crafts movement. The undersides are stamped with a wreath-shaped maker’s mark, above ‘Sterling’ and ‘565’. Please see lot 17BAL146-001, for the coordinating sugar bowl, creamer, and waste bowl. The total approximate weight is 52.590 ozt.

- to fair; some minor surface wear with faint markings, scratches, and tarnishing; handles have been removed.
