Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of musicians by listed artist Joyce Roybal (born 1955). Roybal is well known for his whimsical, cartoonish figural genre paintings known as “Puffy People”. This example depicts the stylized image of five women standing closely together and playing instruments. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner. The painting is presented without glass in a wood frame featuring running ornamentation with a leaf and berry motif. It is ready to hang with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
