A Modernist chromed steel pillar floor lamp by George Kovacs, circa 1970s. The lamp is topped by a box-form, paper-lined shade with a natural linen exterior concealing five bulb sockets over a control knob. The sockets are supported by a square pillar continuing to a rectangular, plinth base. There are no manufacturer’s marks.

Condition

- to fair; lamp powered on when tested; some light oxidation scattered throughout; shade with stains/discolored spots as well as a tear running the length of one corner; shade most likely original.
