A hand-knotted Indo-Caucasian carpet runner. The rug features a pattern down the center of the deep red field that features large rounded palmettes in a palette of navy blue, cream, and taupe. The field is populated by small floral and star medallions and is enclosed by a compound border. The border features a pattern of diamonds and florals on a dark blue background with the rug featuring an ovecast edge and a short fringe to either end. The rug is not marked.
