R. Borsten Sculpture of Nude Figures

A ceramic sculpture by R. Borsten. This piece features the hollow torsos of a man and woman back to back, each standing on one leg with no arms, heads, or opposite legs. A third, vaguely leg-shaped appendage emerges from between them to allow the piece to stand freely. The sculpture is finished with a patchy, worn finish in a natural stone color and a signature is present molded on the male figure’s ankle.

Condition

- cracks and rough edges throughout; wear may be intentional.
