A set of three folk art carved and painted wooden snake sculptures by listed American artists Richard Kooyman and Barbara Browning. The works feature incised lettering and painted striped embellishments in hues that include yellow, red, green, maroon, blue and cream. Each snake features a carved phrase to the front. These include Eat Good Food, Be Kind, Tell the Truth; I Can’t Read Your Mind, You’ll Have to Let Me Know; and Hey Buster, That’s About Enough Out of You. Each piece is also marked with a ‘Kooyman Browning’ stamp to the verso and includes drilled holes for wall display.
