C. Herbaut Oil Painting on Board "Paysage"
Item Details
An oil painting on board titled Paysage by C. Herbaut. The grey-toned, impressionistic work depicts a body of water in the foreground continuing to a vegetation-lined coast with a distant building. It is signed to the lower right ‘C. Herbaut’ and titled on the back. The painting is housed in a dark-stained, wooden frame accented by a painted, green line. There is a hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- a few very tiny marks near upper left corner of board with a small, round indentation, indentation most likely an imperfection present before the composition was painted.
